C-a : move to beginning of line

C-e : move to end of line

C-b : move backward one character

C-d : delete forward

C-f : move forward one character

C-k : delete from cursor to end of line

C-n : move to next line

C-p : move to previous line

Note C-d & C-k are only available in edit fields and will delete any selection as well, and can be undone if needed.
